(Re)Encounter
Pralad definitely always surprises me with his ideas and his spontaneity, and one way or another he shows up at key moments of my life.
The first time we tried to take photos underwater it was the middle of winter, so the cold wasn’t very cooperative, but we still got a couple of shots that turned out amazing… Out of nowhere the chance came to get together again on a wonderful sunny day… Straight into the water, and that’s where the magic began: sparks of empowerment shown through his lens.
As always, a unique experience, the feeling of maximum freedom of being underwater with nothing but my skin, being myself, laughing, feeling and expressing with my whole being.

They say improvised things turn out best, and without a doubt Pralad’s eye always perfectly captures the beauty of details: a day, a moment, sun, water, a reunion, the expression of free bodies in and out of the water, the comfort of skin to move and flow in. For me it’s about enjoying every instant, feeling that complicity that builds during the session, where “everything just happens” and all we see is magic in every shot.

Today I had an incredible experience: I got to be in Pralad’s photos. Without planning it, without even thinking about it. I was just there as a spectator, enjoying the day, the weather and the session, and suddenly, when I went to feel the pool water with my hand, Pralad invited me to join if I was up for it. I said yes, and the whole experience was wonderfully liberating and natural. I also loved that it was in the water; it was great to feel so light and free underwater.
Infinite thanks for letting me take part in and enjoy this session. I hope someday I can be in another one, because feeling good and free wearing only our skin is something unique and beautiful.
