PRALAD

my name is Pralad, I was born in the winter of 1981 in

Santiago, Chile.

I like simple things, quiet things, I like sad things that make me happy, music, photography.

I like it because it’s simple, because when I’m behind the camera everything goes silent, everything becomes simpler.

I like watching people take pictures on the street, on the subway, at a party; they make it look so simple, so ordinary. I don’t know, I just like photography, I like it a lot.

I also like watching couples argue on the street; it’s fun to make up a story about what brought them to that moment, to imagine what they’re saying. Did he cheat on her? Is she in love with someone else?

I like simple things, owning few things and eating artichokes.
