Lighting up is the key
To be honest, it’s been very hard for me to write this; lately everything is harder
For me and for everyone
Living with uncertainty is not an easy thing.
But if I compare how hard it was to write this with how hard it was (and at times still is) to accept my body, my new body…
Writing is a piece of cake.
And comparing uncertainties, the pandemic lit me up and set me free, not only because of these beautiful photos, but because it made me understand so many things.
Whereas the constant struggle to figure out how to make myself like my body, to have to love myself, to have to accept, only dimmed me.
I’m grateful for these moments of creation and surrender, which only make me flow. Where I don’t have to think about fitting in or about “having to”…
Loving yourself is a long, hard road (almost no one tells you that), but what matters is that the people who need to feel at peace with this are you…
and no one else
