My Art

I’m in a moment of reflection about my art and the purpose behind what I do. Sometimes I find myself in a zone where everything seems stable, and I’ve lost that urgency or “hunger” to create. I ask myself: why keep producing? What more can I contribute?

I’ve always worked from discomfort, vulnerability or pain, but that feeling isn’t as present anymore. It’s not that I’ve lost the ability to create; maybe I just don’t do it from the same place anymore. Perhaps it’s time to redefine what the creative process means to me.

Sometimes, producing for the sake of producing disconnects me from my own essence, as if I were doing it only to sustain an image or prove my worth. Yet I realize it’s also fine to stop, take breaks, observe, enjoy idleness and allow myself silence.

My art has been tied to conflict and discomfort, but now I wonder whether I can accept that being well is also part of growth. I don’t always need to create from suffering. Perhaps this well-being, however fleeting, can be fertile ground for a new stage in my life and my art.

In the end, I know that movement is what defines my essence. To mutate, not to be static, to move, to breathe with my body, faster, constant, until silence comes… simply to be.
