The rebellion of the body
The rebellion of the body
If the body is our means of moving through the world, then why do we keep it hidden? On one hand there’s the functional answer, which has to do with meeting our needs, keeping warm in the cold and protecting ourselves from the heat. But on the other hand there’s a cultural factor: the stigmatization of nudity.
The body is a tool we often set aside out of fear of others’ opinions, relegating the nude to a genre found only in the “Fine Arts”, since in that way it can be appreciated from an “aesthetic” experience.

Street nudity has a strength and rebelliousness that comes from imperfection, from the quick shot, but above all from reality. It becomes part of its surroundings, showing all its imperfections while at the same time working on its intimacy in an environment that seems hostile.

I believe that by breaking the barrier of fear and sharing with the space, you can enjoy nudity as an experience that goes beyond stigma, an experience I would definitely repeat.
