Time freezes
The wind was blowing, cold. Bodies together and the skin bristles, the warm skin.
Reunion, it’s been two weeks.
The joy of being us, of having black feet, of the stone digging into your back, of bumping into the dry branch and tripping over the wire.

The cold rail, the fog that covers us, the fallen vine, the coal yard in ruins.
The industrial, the garbage, the cement and the iron.
The living bodies.
The coal dust.
The broken glass.
The tender embrace.
The awkward pose and, among the three of us, balance.
The contrast of our bodies.
And again, the cold.
I lose my shoe; the dogs stole it, they sneakily fooled us with their tails and their jumps.
It got stuck in the fence.
Thanks to the man with the bottle of wine, the curiosity and the bicycle.

Time freezes in the icy breeze that brushes the skin. Words and time stop in the shot of a pupil.
The warmth of the bodies brings back the certainty of the primitive, of what has always been and always will be.
