Sometimes it's not comfortable, it's so much more

I feel that from today on I want to take part in every group shoot Pralad does. Lately incredible things have been happening in my life, and I count taking photos like these among them: they are unique moments, life experiences that few people get to have or are willing to have.

This group shoot was different. With fewer girls than last time, everything was calmer, there was less suffering from the cold hehe, and as always we had an amazing time. We women are the greatest thing to walk the earth. As I always say, girls, do everything, don’t limit yourselves; as Nicolás Massú said, “I think that in life nothing is impossible, dude, not a damn thing.”

Sometimes it’s not comfortable, it’s so much more

How beautiful to have been able to take part again in Pralad’s photos. Not only because I love his work, but also because of everything that, for me, lies behind this experience… it helps me feel more and more comfortable with my body, my skin, my shapes. Being naked in a space I feel is safe, surrounded by other women, without feeling judged, is something really beautiful. I’m very grateful for this. Thank you, Pralad! And thank you, girls… thank you for this moment, for showing up, for the good vibes and the sharing.

Sometimes it’s not comfortable, it’s so much more

Sometimes it’s not comfortable, it’s so much more.

It’s safe, it’s necessary, it’s possibility.
Those moments when feeling uncomfortable was the signal to leave, to question, stand against the uncomfortable moments that have made me grow, that have opened spaces, experiences and relationships for me, with myself and with others.

Questioning comfort and giving new meaning, new value, to discomfort. Holding the uncomfortable pose for a photo, the uncomfortable conversations with the people I love, and with myself.

In the end, more often than I could once imagine, discomfort builds, moves and evolves, while many other times comfort held me back and felt like the very voice that made me miss out on things.

I don’t think comfort has a negative connotation; I think it’s the beginning, until a new discomfort makes the space grow, until a new concept that is even deeper, until a more complex emotion.
